I emailed a coworker telling her that I was uncomfortable w/ some changes that she suggested I make on a proposal and that I was planning to meet w/ my project partner to discuss the new changes. When she replied, she cc'd my project partner and my boss, stating that she was in disagreement w/ me submitting those changes w/o her first reviewing them and that she disagreed w/ me holding this meeting. I was very insulted that she would suddenly cc these people when I didn't cc them on my initial email to her. And for her to say that she must first review the changes and that I shouldn't meet w/ partner until I spoke to her (like I'm some kind of child) was very insulting b/c it was like she was "correcting me" publicly.

I won't have to work w/ her in the future after next week. We work for the same company in dif't wings of the bldg., but she's good friends w/ my boss, so I'm wondering if there might be fall-out from our disagreement. Bottom line is I want revenge. What can I do?

I left my company last year and promptly rolled over all of my 401(k) *directly* to an IRA. I've done this several times before. I almost had a heart attack when I got a 1099 from them reporting 28% of it as a "Taxable amount". I surely intend to talk to them on Monday, but in the meantime I'm in a panic and would like to get opinions. The strange thing is that it's not all taxable, even though I took one distribution. I could see it if they didn't think I'd had rolled it over to a qualified retirement plan, but they obviously think I did, since it's not all taxable. My dad thought he had run into this before and said some code on the W-2 indicates it's non-taxable, but I don't see anything on there, and why would it say "taxable" in black and white only to be reversed by a secret code on the W-2? So any theories on what happened? Could this be legit? Or is this just an administrative error?

My online listing on the company website is full of huge mistakes and he will not change it. The online MLS in Canada has no pertinent details or picture and he will not expand on it. I had to put the "For Sale" sign up myself, because he does not work weekends, etc. This has gone on for months! Is there a code of ethics?

We have tried eBay and we found it extrememly difficult to compete with the larger power sellers. We are not exactly the best salespeople face to face, but we do not mind hard work and we do not mind putting in the hours as long as their is an eventual payoff.

Please don't suggest MLM programs, envelope stuffing, pyramid schemes, eBay, cyber begging or anything illegal.

I am a school teacher. I LOVE teaching. I am a very good teacher in a midwestern high school. I would be very depressed to have to leave my position as a teacher because I love it so much. The prospect of going into the world of selling insurance or sitting in a cubicle depresses me even more.

What we (my wife, kids and I) need in order for me to keep teaching and for us to stay afloat financially, is a good financial opportunity. Thank you!

I bought a domain and web space that had a one-year contract with it but I don't want either anymore. I've emailed them several times to try and cancel but they won't respond. They charge my card every month. Can I tell my provider not to authorize their charges anymore, or do I have to keep paying until the year expires?
