I'm pregnant and on a new insurance plan through my husband's job. There's a $500 deductible per individual and a $1000 for the family. I need to go in for a regular pre-natal visit with ultrasound. We've paid nothing on the deductible so far so will I need to pay it when I go in for this visit? It would just be the $500,right?

If I do pay the deductible with this visit, will I need to pay it again when I go to the hospital for delivery, or is it a one time only thing?

My wife and I have Roth IRA's. We're close to the income limits. I would like to setup a monthly contribution rate, but I don't know if I will over contribute because of year end bonuses.

Should I contribute once, at the end of each year (I know I'll miss out on the interest)?

I also read about being able to contribute some into a roth and some into a traditional IRA. If anyone can clear this up it would be helpful.

Either way, what would happen if I over contribute?

Thank you.

Hi all. My fiance was laid off 5 months ago and has been unable to find a job since. He has applied everywhere from McDonalds to Lowes to Office jobs etc....He worked as a Deputy Jailer for the Sheriff's Department for 5 years. Every response he gets says he's ethier over qualified, under qualified or the job doesn't match his skills. I have a good job but not good enough to support both of us. We went to our local job & family services dept. as soon as he was laid off, but we can't get them to return our calls. When we show up over there they say they won't see us without an advance phone call. We are at the point of desperation now-We have to move because our rent is behind, we have bill collectors calling all the time & we barely have enough money to eat. I don't know how we are going to afford to move since we only have one income & a deposit & 1st months rent will pretty much take my whole month's salary! If anyone can point me in the right direction,
I would appreciate it!

I'm being paid biweekly. The initial amount was 965.15 for payment. But after they removed taxes and retirement, I was left with 672.74. This works out to a little over 300 a week. Making it about 14k a year. I'm losing 11k to taxes and stuff...is this right? I claim as single and no dependencies.

I once read only 5% of the available jobs are advertised in either newspapers, on the internet, or free weekly shopping guides. How does one find out what jobs are out there in education, publishing, etc? It seems as if many of the jobs posted on the internet are from employment agencies and are low paying. Considering I live next door to one of the biggest cities in world, there must be a lot of job openings.

behind everytime he walked by you? I was always indignant and told them I did not appreciate it. I even loudy exclaimed for others to hear "do not slap my ***!, HOW DARE YOU!" No one ever saw or reacted.
I am a professional, went to colege for six years. I do not expect to be treated as such. The previous boss fired me after 6 months, I refused to have dinner with him. He thought I should because I was single and he was relentless. I have no proof or witnesses though, it was always in a private meeting. Other emplyees though we were fooling around, a friend of mine for 5 yrs worked there also, she informed what others assumed. She also told me he has done this to others and fired them too. I won't sue, but this man and the new boss need to be stopped. I am starting a new position, my boss is a female, she is bi-sexual and single, now I am worried!
