behind everytime he walked by you? I was always indignant and told them I did not appreciate it. I even loudy exclaimed for others to hear "do not slap my ***!, HOW DARE YOU!" No one ever saw or reacted.
I am a professional, went to colege for six years. I do not expect to be treated as such. The previous boss fired me after 6 months, I refused to have dinner with him. He thought I should because I was single and he was relentless. I have no proof or witnesses though, it was always in a private meeting. Other emplyees though we were fooling around, a friend of mine for 5 yrs worked there also, she informed what others assumed. She also told me he has done this to others and fired them too. I won't sue, but this man and the new boss need to be stopped. I am starting a new position, my boss is a female, she is bi-sexual and single, now I am worried!

I knew some "?" were going to come up. should 've clarified in the original text. I don't work in a strip club-I dress professional, office style, wear slacks & blazers, dresses & maybe 1" heals. I'm 5 'feet 7" & am 125lbs, a slender, nice figure, I do not exhibit it & flirt. I 'm pretty, I 'm told this, I do not see it , my hair is up at work, and some make-up. I shouldn't have to explain. I'm not provoking this& I know it. I have asked other co-workers if I am acting improperly in the office, the reply is usually like, “no, you are nice & people (men) take it the wrong way” OK, so, I guess I have to become a cold, hard, b*tch now? I am feeling very stressed pre-new job, what’s going to be an issue now? I have a private office & usually my own assistant. I am typically a gracious person, & polite. I have a bachelor’s degree in human resources with an AA in sociology- I am going on my fourth job in 6 years.

In the past 20 years, we have passed legislation to protect workers from all types of harassment in the workplace. Improper touching, verbal harassment and threats of retaliation are all actionable in the court system. My suggestion is that if this happens again, contact a lawyer who specializes in workplace matters... shouldn't be too hard, as they all advertise their specialties in the Yellow Pages !

Adrian, a person with your education in the human resources field should know that the way to handle these issues is to go up the chain of command until you find someone that has the power and willingness to do something about this situation. If you work for a small company, you could go directly to the EEOC. Incidentally, a person's physical appearance does not, or should not, affect whether allegations of harassment are substantiated or not. Whatever the reason, your work history of four jobs in six years will eventually hinder you in getting a good job.

You have indicated that you complained loudly, so others would hear. They did but you did not come to your own alarm.

You could of stopped everything and ask the offending person why they treat you in this manor. With your co-workers present to witness the response. If there is any answer that indicate that this person feel that their action is right, quietly call 911. Request an officer to have a sexual predator arrested, and the predator is present at the moment.

Just do your jop, becuase your new boss is a BI sexual Lady and single doesnt mean to say she is going to start harrasing you or hitting on you just cuz she attracted to women aswell. Yes you have had bad bosses in the past but if it was me i woulda been taking action the first time it happened!. The fact that your worried even more now that you are working for a Bi lady is kinda wrong. So she happens to be Bi.. SO? Sorry just bothers me that becuase someone is Gay.. or BI.. seems like the world thinks they are evil and gonna jump everyone of the sex they like. Whatever. besides.. maybe your not her type!

Just keep an eye out at your new job. If you can set up a camera in your office without anyone knowing about it. I would of taken his butt to court for sexual harrassment, but that's just me. If the new boss even attempts to make a move on you be straight up with her and tell her if she doesn't stop you'll report her too! Stand up for yourself more.

Where have you been working, a strip club? You need to record conversations and prove your case that way. This world is far from imperfect, if you are dressing skimpy, you should clean up your act, either clean it up or keep having your azz grabbed.

Get evidence of them and sue them or get even with them when they do something funny.
