do i need to get a lawyer for court or do i just pay the court cost and fine

It is now chargeable in most states. Instead of spending money on an attorney, here's another option if you are able to go to court.

Most judges will allow you the option to request probation before judgement for a minor traffic violation. Basically this mean syou are not contesting the charge & you pay whatever the fine attached to it may be.....HOWEVER !! The violation is not applied to your record at that point & if you remain violation free for the next 6 months (usually) The violation never goes on your record & no insurance increase....

But if you do get another ticket within the 6 months the charge is applied at that point. You can tell the judge your insurance agent suggested it. They are happy cuz they get the fine, & you don't mess up your driving record !!

Yes, it's a minor moving violation.

I wouldn't bother with the cost of a lawyer, I'd just pay the ticket.

get a lawyer and fight it to the death, spend $25.000 on it but fight it get a loan, anything you can, spend years in courts and lawyers don't let them get away with it..... NOOOOT!
