Ok, i am wondering, i Efiled my taxes online, and the Efile was accepted by IRS Jan 13th. The company i went through emailed me once IRS had accepted and said i would have my return Jan 26th. When i checked the IRS website, however, they said BY jan 30th....not a big difference, but do you think i will recieve the refund the 26th like the company i filed through advised, or by the 30th like the IRS website indicates? Also, has anyone ever efiled online and recieved their refund later or earlier then told?

I efile every year, and I have always received my refund before the date quoted to me. Not much before, but never later.

Depending on whether your refund was instructed to be direct deposited or mailed out in a paper check, I would go with the IRS's date on January 30th. I have gotten my refund a few days earlier before and I have gotten it a few days later. The IRS website tells you the date you "should" be receiving your refund. However, many factors come into play because your bank may need a few extra days to clear the refund or if it is being mailed, the USPS may have delayed your mail. Mail gets delayed all the time, especially if you live in a suburban area.
You can call the IRS to find out definitely when you should be receiving your check.

I used expresstaxrefund.com last year and got my money 3 days before irs.gov date form their website ....
