i was in foster care from the ages of 14-18, and not sure if that means i cant become a social worker. Anyone have any ideas as to whether this would help or hinder my chances?

I had my baby Jan 3, 2.5 weeks early. I looked on the insurance website just a minute ago and they have denied everything that had to do with my hospital stay. Why and how can they do that. I am freaking out because my bill is close to 11000 dollars. She was breeched and I do not tried to have her turned. I had a c-section. I can not believe that they can do this. I usually get a provider discount from the hospital and I got no discount either.

Each day, I greet my coworkers by name, I am friendly and professional. I am soft spoken and genuine with people and what you see is what you get. I don't really think it is appropriate to talk about the details of my personal life (maybe with one or two trusted coworkers). I treat everyone the same However, I often feels as though I don't fit in because I choose not to get involved in the drama and gossip. My boss (a woman) has told me that she admires that I am a person of integrity, yet I just don't feel like she would stand up for me behind my back. I I feel like my coworkers tolerate me and are basically just nice to my face. Usually, I ignore it these feelings and just keep a good attitude...is this the best way to approach it? Thanks.

My fiance received a large lump sum, in the form of a cashiers check, from her ex husband after he retired. Is that taxable income? taxable gift? She says since it was in the divorce decree that she receives a certain percentage of his retirement that it would be considered alimony. Since he always pays in cash or check, where would she place the income on the tax files if no tax forms are ever sent out to her, ie: 1044 etc.

I quit a job in the medical field 3 years ago because a doctor I worked for made sexual advances toward me. I ignored it for a year then one evening he came on too strong.Everyone was gone, you can imagine the rest.( I tried to ask this last night but I guess I got too graphic and the question disappeared).I gave my notice and qiut.
