I paid off this account in 2002 and I am just now getting a collection's notice. The first communication I recieved said "Final Notice"! I know I paid this off but being that it was so long ago I no longer have proof. This account has never showed up on my credit report. Is there anything that I can do to not have to pay it again?

The house is in Georgetown, Indiana listed by a realtor. I'm not going through the listing agent though. I've got a buyers agent I've been working with. It's a new construction listed for $169,000.00. I want to offer $152,100.00 (10% less than the asking price). Is that too low to go? What is the usual range when offering less on a home?

Are there special tax filing requirements for a friend of mine who over the course of last year lost her husband and moved to another state? She had been listed as a dependent on her husband's taxes. Does she have to file taxes on her deceased husband's behalf? Would software such as Turbotax handle her situation or would she be better off having taxes done by a person such as HR Block or a CPA?

Thx.

I just want to be able to answer questions like "why are leaving" and "what don't you like about it here", I'm sure there will be questions like that and I was hoping to get some help. Has anyone had to go through the same thing? Thanks.

I would like to know if I should make some to see if they sell before I get it patent or what should I do?. It's a small improvement, but I think it will sell. Should I go to the store that sells them now without the improvement and ask if they would like to try to sell mine? I believe I can get them made at my tailors, ill have to check.
