I just thought of how to improve an article of clothing that is in the market?

I would like to know if I should make some to see if they sell before I get it patent or what should I do?. It's a small improvement, but I think it will sell. Should I go to the store that sells them now without the improvement and ask if they would like to try to sell mine? I believe I can get them made at my tailors, ill have to check.

Make sure you get a patent before yo tell anyone what it is as they may steal your idea and you would have no recourse to get any money from it
