What is the quicker way of transferring or sending money to Philippines?

I don't think WU is as good as people perceive. I think they charge too much.

Personally I prefer Remit2Home - http://www.remit2home.com, because their fund transfer is facilitated by Citigroup, they have extensive coverage and offer competitive rates.

Western Union is very quick (a matter of hours). W.U. is more expensive than a bank to bank transfer, which costs about $20 and can take 1-5 days. For an extra fee of another $20, banks will guarantee it overnight. However, the receiving banks in The Philippines like to play games (sit on the money) for a few more days.

My parents send my allowance through Equitable PCI and I receive it within 24-48 hours. It's a safe and easy access way that we've been using for years... :)
