I collect bears so my house is full of them. I would like something maybe with bears in it or just something really fun and catchy. Thanks so much.

I found that Experian shows a small balance for a collections account from years ago. I have no problem paying it now but the credit report shows the past due account will be on record until December 2007.

But I'm afraid of paying it off because it might be updated by the collections agency and then be on my report an additonal seven years from today.

Does anyone know if this can happen? Am I better off not paying to avoid more years of bad credit?

Thanks!

Can someone refer me where I can look up information on requirements for apartment complexes. Im not sure if I am explaining myself correctly, but the responsibilties a landlord has regarding an apartment, and requirements an apartment has to have. For example working smoke detectors, etc. The buliding itself looks like a hotel, 11 story building, with elevator etc. It was affected by a fire a year ago(I wasn't a resident then) but since the fire most apartments have flimsy "temporary doors", with no peep hole, only one lock etc. Im sure they might be violating other things but I don't know where to look to have proof. I recently found out an apartment got broken into, but theyre keeping everything hush hush. Please, can someone help me. What agency/organization can I contact?

I heard from someone that it is required that you put LLC after your business name for all documents. Is this true? If state laws apply, I live in Wisconsin.

Any law experts out there?

Not everyone is aware of this, but as of this year anyone earning over $97.500 will not be subject to the 12.4% social security tax above that amount (6.2% if not self employed). That means even if you make 1 million this year, you could pay as little as $6045 in taxes on earned income. And most millionares have unearned income (investments) that are not even touched by this tax. If you are "middle class" and earn 45k as a self emloyed "whatever" you would have to pay $5,580. What do you think about reversing the cap. The first 10k is not subject to S.S. tax $620. Then raise the upper cap to $107.500. A person making over 100 grand would pay an extra $620 in taxes. Who needs the extra money more? The person making 10,000 a year or 100 grand?

My employer paid for school last year and I was curious as to how I should reflect this on my tax return. They gave me a 1099 that shows the miscellaneous income for tuition. I paid the tuition and my company reimbursed me back through payroll. So, since the goverment gives education credits for school expenses how should I put this on my tax return? Do I show the tuition as misc. income and then mark the education credits as well? Or do I have to do it another way? Any tax specialists if you know please answer! I am stumped! Thanks!
