Did your boss tell you exactly why he gave you a bad report? As long as you were completing you work correctly and maintaining a professional attitude and outlook, there should be no reason your boss has given you a negative report. I would suggest sitting down with your boss (no matter how uncomfortable it may be) and talking with him/her about the situation. You deserve to know why you're being disliked by him/her and distanced from your co-workers. If your boss can't be honest with you and try to create a more peaceful working environment so you'll feel more at ease, you don't need to work for him/her any longer. Office politics are pants! Keep your head down and do your job... you'll find out who's worth knowing and who isn't.
I have a personal rule of thumb that it takes a good 6 months for anyone to be truly effective in their job, so don't fret just now.
Perhaps your boss feels a bit threatened by you? Just play it cool and see how things turn out.
My brother recently went through something similar and was on the point of leaving when an opportunity to do a big favour for the boss cropped up and now everything's back on an even keel. He just did his best and let the rest of them come round in their own time.
Keep your chin up... things will work out in the end.
