I have worked at the same place for about 7 years. I am very happy there, I get to be outdoors, My bosses feel like my parents to me, they pay for me to go to the doctor when I am sick, they buy me things all the time, they are constantly reminding me how they couldn't run the business without me (I am the manager). The only thing is this job is only seasonal (6 or 7 months a year) and I have no benifits, and I get really bored when I am not at work. I have been struggling with a decision for years, I have even applied and got very good jobs when I was off work only to quit and return to this job becasue I miss the people there so much. Should I make myself get another job or enjoy the one I have.

he's one year old and i want to start saving for his future. He has one of those child trust funds (with the money from the government?) that i have been putting extra money into - but is this really the best place for it or would i be better off with a different kind of account? There is so much choice i don't know what to do for the best!!

( If someone owes the IRS money, and also owes a few thousand on back child support, when they file for their taxes and qualify for say a 2000 refund, the IRS will intercecpt that money. But where would the priority lie? Would the money go to the IRS or would the back child support be paid first? I am an X wife with an X husband who owes both, so I'm wondering if I should count on seeing any money at tax time? LOL)

I have a biology degree and I have worked in various labs doing research. I would like to move into the direction of clinical research monitoring sites and all that goes along with that job. The only problem is every open job posting wants you to have at least one years experience. How do I get experience?

OK Here's the situation...... I have a FICO score of 663 according to the purchase of my Equifax credit report on myfico.com....I own a "annual payment visa card with a limit of $750 (increased from original of $250) over the last year and a half and WalMart Credit card with a limit of about the same (increased as well)..... I want to buy an engagement ring for my girlfriend. I have $3,200 in cash and the ring I want is $4700, so I need to finance the last $1,500. My best financial choice would be to get a credit card with a 12 month 0% APR, so I can pay the $1,500 off no problem in 12 months. BUT, I don't want to apply for some of these cards, (Most are platinum) if it will hurt my credit score if I'm rejected. Will I be accepted? My balance on the other two cards is like $100 total, I've paid them off consistently. (never late) but I am improving on past credit problems from like 7 years ago. . Will I get rejected for these 0% Introductory APR cards?

Recently I started babysitting for a family friend. It is a pretty good job, nice kids, good house, but she has not payed me my full pay. I feel this lacks respect, and she thinks she can use me. I am mature, structured, have experience, and love those kids, and will take the best possible care of any child. But if I may put it bluntly, the pay sucks. 3 $ an hour. And she seems to think she
doesn't need to pay me for the halfhour, which is rediculous,I dont let them run in the road, for that half hour,I watch them. So should I raise my pay,and make sure she pays me? She has a reputation for using everybody, and I dont know what to do.

gossipy, immature, rude, etc?
In my role as receptionist for a municipality, it is important to be friendly, polite, confidential, and very professional.
I don't think it's appropriate to participate in office gossip, and I treat everyone the same friendly and respectful way, and don't bring my problems to work (i.e. don't share the all the details of my personal life.) What you see is what you get - I have no personal agenda and am a soft-spoken, yet assertive person.

I job share with someone who is the exact opposite. She is a "queen bee" prima donna type that everyone hovers around. She has a professional image - but she is very fake and everything is all about her and her agenda. Honestly, it feels like Mean Girls - and we're all adults here! Any tips/advice?

I have attended college and received my B.A. in Communication a few years ago. I think that I would like to go on and continue my education but I am unsure of what discipline.

I have had a few jobs since graduation but have not found a career that I am passionate about. My wife told me a statistic that approx. 80% of college graduates don't work in the field that they studied in.

For those of you out there that have gone on, what made you choose the path that you did? And when did you know you wanted to go back to school?
