My supv. has advised me that I need not gossip (I dont gossip - not productive) and to get along with the other depts. (Have had no issues with other dept) Since I have been here she has done nothing but gossip about other employees. "So do as I say not as I do." I have spoken to other mgr at other dept and was advised to take to head of company - should I? I expect backlash from my supv. she does not like to be told she is doing something wrong. She loves to micro manage. Dont want to quit need the job, but I love what I do.

Hi! I start my first real job since graduating college on Tuesday! I've had many jobs before, but this is the start of a career and I need to dress appropriately because it's important to me to look professional. I own very few office-appropriate outfits (only enough for interviews) and I need to stock up on dress pants and button down shirts for work.
My question is, how bad would it be to sign up for a store credit card at Banana Republic or Express in order to pay for all the clothes that I need? I don't plan on spending so much that I won't be able to pay it off when I get my first paycheck. Do you think that opening a credit card and then immediately paying off the balance when I receive the bill would look bad for me, or help build credit? When I do pay it off, should I just hold on to the credit card or close the account?
Or should I avoid the credit cards in general? I'm sure my parents or my boyfriend would loan me some money since I really do need the work apparel.

Can anyone advise me how do I do if I found out that my monthly retirement (403K) money was not deposited in my account in the Mutual Fund comany. I have been contacted them for two months and get no answer. I can't find the corporate address for that company. Where should I file a complaint? The company is called Fidelity Investment. Thank you so much for all your help. It is very frustrated !!

This is a two part Question. Please don't answer this unless you really know the answer. Thank you.

First Part:
I got married 15 years ago to my second husband. I never changed my SS card name to include my new last name. How do I go about doing this, and is it a bad thing that I haven't done it?
Second Part:
In years past (after my second marriage) our joint tax return was always filed by our tax lady showing my last name as hypenated putting my first married name, then my last married name. Is all this going to mess me up as far as getting my new SS card with my second married name, OR when it's time to collect social security?

Here are some other details that might be helpful. This is my second interview with this firm. I recently recieved my associates degree in accounting and this is my first job. I have a fair amount of education, but not very much job experience. This company does not have a web site that I know of (I have searched). I do know that they do income taxes, payroll, and financial statements among other things. Their clients range from small to large businesses. Thanks for your suggestions.
