I have owned three businesses and have found different challenges with each. My current business provides products and services to new businesses and I have found their challenges to be unique to their industry. However, I will tell you general items that are key issues for new businesses;
1. Capital - finding the money you need for start-up and the first
operating quarter (until you are making some money)
2. Human Resources - not just being able to afford help but
finding the right people to work with.
3. Inexperience - some of the major challenges for new business
owners develop because the entrepreneur has
no experience with a particular problem or they
didn't have a contingency plan for a problem
and they don't know how to overcome it.
4. Time Management - you will work HARD for an average of
12-14 hours per day, 6 to 7 days a week
to get the business going. Many new
entrepreneurs are not prepared for that
and can't manage their time within that.
5. Operations Management - it will take a while to develop a work
flow that works for you. Many new
business owners find they have
trouble creating an effective work
flow for their business and they end
up all over the place. A routine will
develop eventually but can cause
major stress at first.
As I said, new business owners will find challenges based on their level of skill, experience etc. One thing that causes issues for business owner A may not be an issue for business owner B.

If there are no challenges then he is not an entrepreneur.Isn't it?
Now please clearify what challenges that you are talking about?
Look at the profile of successful people.Do you think, have they rose without facing challenges? If you are an entrepreneur then you should be asking these questions.By the way I have being teaching poeple to help them start their own home based businesses for last 4 years.I answer their questions on a daily basis. If you want more information, please drop me a line to my email:
