I Live in the North Hollywood Area (San Fernando Valley) in
Los Angeles....I remember when I could get a one bedroom apartment for as low as $450 per month, but those days seem to be long gone....Now in the same area I lived in 15 years ago I pay about $1,075.00 for a One Bedroom Apartment in the North Hollywood Arts District. I want to compare Los Angeles Rent Rates to different parts of the world...I just want to get an idea of what you pay, what CITY and State you live in, and tell me what the EMPLOYMENT prospects are for blue collar workers in your area PLEASE!

I would like to start my own family child care home in PA but I want to use a small cottage on my sister-in-laws's property instead of my own house. I'm currently getting healthcare through my employer since I'm no longer eligible for medicaid for my daughter or county health for either of us. well, it's killing me- our health ins sucks. i am to pay $300 a month for just me and my daughter (husband not included) plus $30 copays per visit and $10 prescription co-pays.

my question: is it worth it to drop the coverage and just get some sort of catastrophic coverage for my 16month old daughter? or does anybody know of any individual plans that offer real service without ridiculously high deductlibles?

Today i called in sick to work....i didnt expect my superviser to ask but i told him that my brother in laws dad had passed away....well he said i need to bring him proof.....i understand that he can ask me for this....but to save my *** because im so stupid and should have went to work today instead of makeing up a stupid excuse...how can i show proof of something that didnt happen...can he fire me if i dont bring proof or just write me up...is there a place on the net that i can make a fake obit clipping out of a news paper and print it out.....please help a dumb ***...thank you

Hi,

I’m the Business Manager of the school newspaper for a high school in the San Fernando Valley in CA and I’m having trouble finding people willing to place ads in our newspaper. I would appreciate it if other people could give me pointers on what to do.
A lot of driving schools are willing to place inserts but not ads.

Is there any website were businesses can contact newspapers or something? Can people tell me how other schools find advertisers? I’ve already posted an ad on craiglist and am lost on what to do.

P.S. If you’re interested in advertising at my school or in helping me out with my problem you can contact me personally. And in case anyone needs to now, my school has several thousand students and prints 1200 copies an issue.
