I am a 23 year old male, that will file at independent. I did not file my taxes for year 04 and 05. I filed for extensions in those years, but I am obviously overdue on the extension. The IRS would have approximately owed me $1500 for both years. I have capital gains in both years (1099) and I will file for the Hope Tax Credit in one year and the Deduction (I forget the name) in another.

1. Can I choose the year I file the Hope Tax Credit? I know that I can select two years, but I want to choose 05 because I have a larger payment to school.

2. What is the quickest way to receive my refund?

Im 16 and have been looking for a job. I have put several applications in but all of them say that they are accepting applications but not hiring. What exactly is the difference? and how long does it usually take to start working from the time that i submit the application to the time i start working. These are the places i have tried, sears, jcpenny, chucke cheese, marshalls, and burlington. Can you suggest other places that would hire me. I would prefer clothing stores

The problem is that I dont have a good credit history. Do they check the credit even if it is a corporate card?? What happens if the card is declined? Its a very good offer and I dont want to lose it

we are a family of 5 on a full time teacher's salary. We had some financial issues with our insurance (not our fault) and our Christmas credit cards (our fault). We can't seem to catch up. We work very hard, she has a part-time job, and I have 2. Should I tap my 403B? Is that even possible? Is it stupid? If we can get back on budget, we can be ok, but with everything behind, we need a grand or 2 to get back on track.

Any ideas/ advice. Thanks in advance.

I can't give every detail, but I discovered a HUGE mistake, which took a massive, mostly physical, effort to fix, and it was fixed, but I have told nobody in my "chain of command." There are a number of people who are aware and involved in the mistake (I was not involved except in the discovery) and one person who heads a department who "outranks" me who is aware. I'm in an ethical dilemma because I don't know if I should tell people within my own department above me, causing a lot of grief for a lot of people, or just leave it alone since this one person as department head knows. But people from different departments would be involved. He has direct access to the Director and Asst. Director (not that I don't but I don't just walk in and start talking usually). I have no idea what he plans to do. Any ideas?

What are three lessons learned relative to the importance and effectiveness of forecasting market demand? What are three lessons learned relative to the importance and effectiveness of market research? As a result of using this simulation, what concepts and analytic tools will you be able to use in the development of your marketing audit (i.e., how do you expect to apply what you learned)?

I just applied for a job at a real estate office. They "loved" my resume and called me in for an interview. When I went in, the HR intern interviewed me by herself. Then they called back and want to schedule two more interviews: one with the HR and one with the exec. Is this normal in the business world? The girl was such a dumbasss when it came to interviewing me, and she is only about 21 years old, not very experienced at all. Do you think I should consider this job? It's $17 an hour on just weekends, so they pay sounds good, but I already feel put-off by the company's manners.
