Why is it an employer expects and ask an employee why they are quitting and yet don't give a reason for letting an employee go after 3 weeks. I asked why and he just said its not a good fit and yet I would have rather know more as to the real reason. Any thoughts or soothing comments would be helpful. Oh, by the way, its not that much of a hardship, I am also self-employed.

When my divorce became final , I was given the house my now ex and I owned together for 8 years. I just found out how ever that legally I still dont own the home 100% because the deed was never taken out of his name, and thus the loan is still in his and my name. I have made all of the payments on the home this year, he has paid nothing. I just really need to know who gets to claim the intrest on the loan, or does it have to be split? He hasnt lived in the home since last January 21, and that months payment came out of my pocket. Any help would be appreciated, I have always done my own taxes, and would really hate to have to go to someone to find out. Thanks again!!!

My husband and I are about to go apply for a mortgage here in about a week. We need copies of our W-2's and tax returns. I know he can call his employer and have them send copies of his W-2's... but we need copies of his tax returns from the past 2 years. I heard you can go online and get them (even print them out right away) but how? I need the copies of the tax returns like ASAP! If anyone has suggestions, PLEASE LET US KNOW!! We need to get them fast... We don't mind paying a little money... but if anyone knows an easy way to get them online and print them out, let me know... or if I am going to have to do it the hard way and go to the IRS building and do it myself. I have been on www.irs.gov but they want you to fill out a form and send it in the mail and wait for them to send it back to you, isn't there any easier way? Thanks everyone!!!

Hi I was wondering if anyone experienced could help me out. I just graduated with my MBA in business and I am very interested in become a property manager here in New York. I have very basic experience assisting my father on the side with some of his properties but I was wondering if anyone knows what steps I need to take in order to become a property manager and/or appeal to a potential employer for an assistant property management job. I currently have experience in unrelated fields like auto insurance claims in a call center, a couple of years of sales and retail experience.

Thanks.

Does that mean that I will get a bill from the credit card company that sponsors my debit card? Why use debit? Why use credit? Is there any advantage or disadvantage to using either?

I just recently sold my computer to someone who sent me over what I asked for in the form of a cashier's check, and now wants me to send the excess funds back to her. She keeps telling me that she is going to report me if I don't send the check to this third party, what do I do? I am so confused, and I still have the money in the bank, but I don't know what to do.

And if you by any chance know about such a lawyer who has been known to care about the environment and helping people in his spare time, please let me know. I want him to be passionate about what he is doing. He has to specialize in getting compensation from huge corporations though.

We are sending our son to a private high school. He will have to board there. The cost will be about $24,000 per year and we will have to take out loans to pay for it. We live in Virginia (and the school is also in Virginia).
Can we deduct the tuition we pay?
Can we deduct his "room and board" fees?
Can we deduct the interest on these loans (if they are properly identified as K-12 student loans)?

Hi! I left my last job because of a coworker bullying me so bad, it caused me physical health problems. I have begun to search for a nice new job, and most interviewers ask why I left my last company. When I told them for health reasons, they always want me to explain. I don't want to let them know of my previous trouble in case they think that I am difficult to work with. What is a tactful way to answer this question without having to explain myself?

anyone having major problems with landlords? Seems as if there are too many laws protecting them and no agencies to complain too......I constantly call, leave notes with my rent check when I mail it in but still get no call or response....the only time they call is when my check gets lost in the mail (which has happened twice in a year)....enough already.....we keep moving because they don't fix things but still demand rent....the last house we had the ac didn't work the entire summer (could not get it cooler than 85 degrees) we had ac companies and the electric company state that the ac/heat unit had major problems and the landlord still stated that there was no problem (and she was a real estate agent) someone help if they know of an agency we can complain to....these are all real estate agents that we are renting from and being ignored by...I am paying someone else's equity, shouldn't I expect perfection?????????
