He is going to graduate in June 2009. when can I start visiting college, if any tax deduction allowed? what documents I need to keep for record.

No deduction or tax break is allowed. In terms of taxes, this is a trip you're taking for you own pleasure and enjoyment.

No tax write-off for visiting him even if it is an expensive trip. But there is one if you are paying for his tuition. Nice try though!!

Personal non-deductable expense.

The tuition may qualify for education credits though.
