I'd rather keep my money, earning interest on it, than send it to the IRS throughout the year. Is there a law that says I must pay it quarterly instead of paying it all on April 15??

I am doing interviews next month for my new company, anyone who would like to share any insight is greatly appreciated.

What questions do you use that give you the most insight into who the person across from you really is, or tells you the most about the way they would work in your company?

Ok here goes..I received an offer like many others. Not reading much of what came w/ it (stupid). I wish i would've done this research before applying. I read in the little papers they sent after digging them out of the trash about the 20.00 setup fee. Of course after reading so many bad things i wouldn't be sending them a cent. Just a few days ago i get a paper from them sayin they need a copy of my soc. sec. card, a pay stub from the last 90 days, and copy of my phone bill from the past 90 days..They'll get nothin else from me EVER!. Did this happend to anyone else? it says if they don't receive these things they'll assume i decided to withdrawal my appy...I Hope SO...

I am thinking about trying to become a CPA and wanted to know what they make. I have 150 hours and a degree in Accounting. I need to work for a year under a licensed CPA. I am just wondering what others know.

One lady I know had some clients, but wanted to get out. She was able to get a job offer of 200k a year. I believe she was offered this because she was experienced and very good at what she did.

Any ideas and input would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

I recently saw an ad for a bank that used the words 'You Thrive, We Strive'. It made me want to throw up. 'You Strive, We Thrive' would have been nearer the truth!

So if I asked you to make a contribution to my bank's upkeep and total transparency in showing that it was a non-profit organisation - would you join? Are there banks like this that already exist???

I'm fed up with the banks' parasitic approach to our money - and bullying when you're a few days late on paying their interest!

I ordered something from Ebay, and had it to ship overnight to me. I would think Overnight would mean overnight no matter what day, right? I read where it's guaranteed, but I've been told I could recieve the package on Monday, instead of tomorrow.

Here are some more details, my husband and I work for the gov and we have being in the same job for 12 yrs, child support is only $450 that comes out straight from his check before they pay him is deducted and send to Child support Services so we never see that money. We make close to $10,000 gross monthly.
I know rates are higher for stated loan/no doc.
Understand that I'm not bragging about our credit or income I just trying to understand why he is trying to use this type of loan.
Thanks for all your answers

I am going to be starting school in Jan for Esthetics.....right now I work in a Spa I told my boss a long time ago that I was going to be starting school, (College) she was excited and said thats great! Then today I told her about me starting and that I may need the schedule switched a little (no less hours just switched around a little with someone) and she said, "No, work priorities are more important and I will not be moving anything around" of course there was more added to that, but you get the general.
Should I go over her head and get what I want? Is she allowed to do that?
