Does being late on car payment versus credit card, bills, etc value the same score on credit report?

I need some help with no docs/stated income home loans.
My husband and I are in the process of getting pre-approved for a home loan. I was assigned a loan officer that asked for all documents, W-2, pay stub, bank statements, 401K. I provided him with all documents. He told me he will be using a stated loan because the fact the my husband pays child support will disqualified us. My husband credit is in the upper 700's close to 800 for the highest and mine low 700 lowest 706.
Now here come the question is this loan officer trying to take advantage of us? If we provided proof of income don't we should be doing a full loan documentation? Oh and he is using my credit score vice my husband and he stated the reason child support again, we were approved already for a mortgage but the loan officer was not honest and we backed out of the deal and child supports was never an issue.
I live in the San Diego, CA area.
Can I make this loan officer use my husband score and full loan doc?
Thx

The car insurance company paid the collection agency for Hospital bill April of this year yet they are still sending me letters. They claim to have not received a check when i sent them a fax with a letter that it was paid and the check #. Two weeks ago I sent them another fax with another letter from teh car insurance company and they claim to have nor received, yet I have a fax recweipt that says it went through. I even confirmed the #. These people are realy getting on my nerves is there anything I can do? Everyone i talk to tells me different things, my insurance advisor even called them on my behalf and spoke to the supervisor and got no where.

I'm not short its just tall women think I'm cute but it hurts my chances for promotion when they see younger women flirting with me that way.

We had a family member call us from another state. They wanted to use our address to rent a U-Haul truck. They said they couldn't use their address because their credit rating was not good. (A step-child ruined their credit , according to them.) We told them we didn't want them to use our address in case something happened to the truck, then it might affect our ability to rent a truck from U-Haul in the future.

We called our local U-Haul office. They told us that credit rating couldn't be determined using an address alone.

Something fishy seems to being going on here. What do you guys think?

We run a Carpet Cleaning business and I am wondering what is the most effective way to advertise. I have posted this one a few times but I keep getting good ideas. We have a web site gordonscarpetcleaning.com. Please visit the site and let me know if there is anything you would take out or add. We have done door hangers, door-to-door selling, we dont have a lot of money or good credit. We have tried Money Mailer, it was not worth it.
What would you, as a customer like to see or hear?

Just want to make my quaility of life a little better. Thanks anyone.

have spent 3-4 week trying to refinance my mortgage loan & each time the loan officer I'm working with promises me that he is the person that can get my loan done...but it really comes down to the underwriter decision. Why can I just work with an underwriter instead of a loan officer? It will say sooo much time!

I need help on possible career options. I am starting to see that most careers in our society are centered around these work settings: We live in a 9-5 world, numbers world, a desk world, paperwork world, and a business world. I am the exact opposite which is why I struggle with jobs! I am a night person, physical person, words person, dirty work person, and humanisitic person. Being an accountant or businessperson would kill me inside. I would die if i ever had to sit in a office cubicle and do the 9-5 routine and do paperwork and work with calculations all day. I dont know how my business friends do it. I wouldnt be using any of my own talents. I have listed some good careers for me: Cop, Nurse, Flight attendant, Bellhop, and Actor. Can you think of other careers that would utilize my strengths. I like working at night, working with people, writing, being on my feet, and being physical. Any suggestions would help.

I have some credit card debt hanging over my head...most of it is from when i was unemployed a few years back. needed to use it for basics like groceries and rent (had no alternative).

i've negotiated my interest rates as low as the companies are willing to go and have good credit. however, the interest rates are still pretty high, so i'm getting reamed in the long run with finance charges. i want to pay at least one of the two cards off and close the account.

this debt is causing me stress, I can only afford to pay the min. payment each month and want to have more disposable income and money for my 401k deduction and savings account.

Any thoughts on using my ROTH IRA to pay off the debt? It will take nearly all of my IRA to cover the debt, so that's the big concern. However, i'm confident i'll be able to replenish it from other sources over the next few years.

FYI, I'm 34 in case that's a question in terms of retirement timing.

Anyone do this and have any regrets? Thx!
