More then likely your employer is making the funds transfer on your payday, and it is taking a two or three days before it shows on your balance. Kind of like waiting for a check to clear after being on hold.
When I pay bills on line, it takes two days before it shows in my checking account.

Your finance/payroll dept should be able to tell you when the transaction was made to your account. Most likely the bank is holding the funds as pending, but the fact that your account is sure pay (direct deposit) makes this very strange.Talk to your bank and have a representative show you when the transaction was made to your account and compare what you have with what your employer gives you.The problem is either electronic or administrative, not illegal though.Your employer is paying you for work performed. It's just not coming in on time.Touch base with both your employer and your bank (get documentation).Make a pay inquiry with your payrolldept and compare your results.Enlist both of their help in identifying the problem and I'm certain the party responsible will resolve this matter for you.

you might want to check with your bank first to see if the problems are with your employer or them first, and if it is actually your employer before acting, and if it is with the employer you can always talk to the person in charge of payroll first, it would be better than contacting the labour board, because if the you are the only person getting your pay late they will know who called and the first chance they get they may try to get rid of you, not a great thing to hear but you gotta look out for number one

Employees have very little rights. Basically the Dept of Labor protects the employer.
