would you pay someone to wipe your butt no cause you can do it yourself anything they can do you can do and more they wont negotiate settlements with creditors

Start out by visiting the FTC's website and see what they have to say about these "credit repair" companies.
They do exactly the same things that you can do yourself. Read the links below and give it a shot first.
If you must deal with one of these companies....ask them to sign an agreement that they will clean your credit history before you pay them anything. See how many of them are willing to do that. Why? Because they can't guarantee they can fix it. But they sure will take your money.

Yes...because it can be very tedious and a bit confusing. You can do it yourself if you stay focused and determined. The process basically entails sending out a series of letters, following up & following through.

NOT in my opinion. Why pay someone to do what you can do simply by PAYING off your debts !! YES it is that simple!
