My mom came up to get me for thanksgiving on tues and brought my dog. We went out and the dog was left in our apt with my roommate. The people from capitol villa (our apt) came to give us chocolates, they knocked, and erika didnt get the door so they started to unlock it. My roommate grabed the dog and the door and she didnt no what to do so she said sorry i have to hold back this dog. The lady (our age in normal clothes) said "oh" then left. I came back today with my roommate and we had an evicition notice on our door. We have to move out by the 21st of december. What can I do? It said we can fight it in court, but when I talk to them tomorrow do you think they will understand?

My aunt gets her monthly retirement checks every month . This month she misplaced one, she wants a replacement but can't remember which one it is. She's not sure if it is her pension, or social security checks.

We have the original envelope it came in, but not the check itself. The envelope appears to have a whitish/beige color, but I am not sure if that is significant.

Is there a way to tell if the checks were cashed? Since she doesn't have direct deposit, we're not sure who to contact for a replacement.

Any help is appreciated.

I am living in the usa and i want to go back to India and i need a little sugestion. If i were to work or have a job in India which degree would be more beneficial to me? An employee went to on OJT to USA and for that he had signed two years bond and if he wants to leave in the middle then he has to pay two lakhs rupees, So i want to ask is there any way by which he can escape this bond and leave the organization? In 2005, I purchased each share (100 shares per certificate) for 25cents a paper, at the Del Mar County Faire, Del Mar, CA and I have no idea if they are valid or not and there is a name on them; however, why would they become a "sale" item, perhaps person died and if so can I cash them at a later time, since I bought them I will definitely keep them. Thank you for your research and replies.

I had to cancel and reschedule an interview for a great job, then I missed the rescheduled interview. It was due to a lazy *** husband, and I was too embarrassed to call the guy. Now I'm screwed. I want to send him flowers or something and beg him to let me interview for this job. Any adults out there have some good ideas for getting back into his good graces?
