Yes. Mary Kay, which I do, is wonderful income, but I have to work for it. Now, after doing it for some time, I have greatly surpassed anything I have made at 'real' jobs (I was executive level). But, it took time to build a client base and work. Now, I'd say about 20 hours a week is what I do for full-time pay. So, if you are willing to do the work now for the longterm payoff, you won't have to work hard later. But, you do have to do some work, at some point.

Hustling Mary Kay and/or Tupperware and the like require more work than getting up in the morning to get a check that you earned. You have to build a client/customer client base and sometimes that takes a while. You also have to come up with marketing ideas as well because you won't be the only one selling either product.

Mary Kay and Tupperware and other home based businesses do require you to work in order to make money. With the exception of inheriting, you usually have to do some work for your money.

It's still a lot of work to generate leads and sell the product. But it can also be a lot of fun, and work doesn't always feel like work when you're having fun!

Do you mean hosting them, or demonstrating them? My mom put me through an expensive high school demonstrating Tupperware, but it was work too. Anything you do to make a living is going to be work to some extent. Living aint free.
