You simply head to your local insurance agent and ask for one.

Be aware that once you are in business, you will start getting solicitations in the mail for these bonds... DO not be fooled into thinking you must get one. Some of their letters make you think you owe them money when really you will get your bond through a local agent and the mail crap can just get tossed out. If you have a question about something you get in the mail, take it to your agent and ask.

Stick with a local agent so you can stop in any old time and ask questions. A good agent is a valuable asset in any business. Get to know one, if you don't like the one you first get then switch but keep it local.

Bonding is by insurance companies. Ask your insurance broker to provide the information to you. I do not believe that you can go directly to an insurance company. Use a broker.
