An employee went to on OJT to USA and for that he had signed two years bond and if he wants to leave in the middle then he has to pay two lakhs rupees, So i want to ask is there any way by which he can escape this bond and leave the organization? Can he defend himself in the court of law? If the company files a suit against him? Will his career get effected by any way? Provide the solution as soon as possible.

certainly. once u have affixed u r signature on the bond asked by the company u r supposed to implement that. otherwise u have to pay the compensation as agreed and signed in the agreement. after the period is over if u want u can leave the organization by giving prior notice. there is no other way aND Ddont invite troubles for u self. stick on to the organization and gain some experience. some times some companies refer u r name before/after giving the appointment. if the previous company gives bad opinion about u the new company also think about u.why should invite unvited troubles. if u like it or not spend u r bond period and seek better job. all the best.

If u have signed the bond legally then the company has every right to sue u.These days many companies do this.I remember one company filing a case against an employee.The best thing i suggest is dont run away.Speak to the management & negotiate on the amount.They may completely waive off also.
