I quit my job after 2 days because this guy totally misrepresented the job description. He was a total hassle, and I just said enough.

He has tried to say that because I signed a contract, I have to work no matter what.

I have signed a contract before and left early, and never heard of such nonsense.

My question is: Can I be forced to work?

A person was renting out a room in their home and there was an email agreement that the rentee would move in. Due to circumstances which are in need of explaining, the rentee did not move in and did not communicate their intent not to move in. Now, the renter is mad and wants to sue the rentee for one months rent and attorney fees for "breach of verbal contract".

Is there any case here?

and pretended to be the person with the bank acount to check their balance because they hadn't paid us. One time she even called the bank and asked to change their(a customer) pin number so she could see if funds were available...I don't agree with this...it is against the law, what do I do? I need the $ but can't keep breaking the law! Even if I do find another job(trying right now) should I turn my former place of employment in?

My brother is 18 years old now and is going to University of Riverside and wants to get a student loan but we are not sure how these loans work. I was suggesting that he should get a loan out and invest it in something providing 6% interest rate. Then after he finishes college he can pay back the student loan and keep the interest he accumulated over time.
Is this a good idea?
Can someone explain to me how these student loans work? any hidden fees, extra charges etc.
Do you pay back the loan after you graduate or monthly?

im a junior in highschool and im scared about what im gonna be when i grow up.
i mean, i already have an after highschool plan,
which is to get into real estate,
invest my $$ and save up for my life,
and eventually pay my own way through college after im settled financially,
but i dont want to be a realtor for the rest of my life.
thats just to make sure i dont have too many problems with money.
let me tell you about myself,
and if you have any suggestions..you know..lay it on me.
umm i do well at writing,
and i like giving advice.
and i can tell alot about a person if i jus watch them and stuff.
im a very detailed person, i like analyzing patterns and behaviors and all that.
hmm..i suck at math and science, i'd like to avoid that as much as possible. lol.
i want to make a difference in peoples lives,
i believe in altruism.
and..yeea if theres anything else that you want to know that might help you help me, feel free to ask.
