From my childhood, I used to speak at express speed. Only my friend could understand what I talk. This created a lot of problems during my school and college days. I couldnt convey properly to my professors, they would not understand my speed. When I joined college, my only friend was not there to help me out. So i had to suffer a lot during my first year. No body in my class was that much interested in talking to me, because they wont understand anyways. and I had a tough time with my professors too. Then I had no other go than to slow down, which was like climbing mount everest for me.now that iam really at optimum speed, things are much clear to everyone.

Anyone in business needs to be a competent public speaker. Gain skills at Toastmasters, there is a chapter near you. Practice by speaking at Rotary and Kiwanis. Speaking allows you to tell your business story and get people intertested in what you do.
A plumber needs to be able to tell a Rotary audience how to unclog a toilet (in tasteful terms) and he will get new business.

lady, its the key....

I have witnessed it from my own eyes and i have personally expeirienced the value of it....

i m professional with many letters behind my name....i know that i m good in writing....but my communication skills are not up to the standard....due to that I have lost many opportunities in my carrier....even to give a presentation I have to allocate lot more time than an average person in my capacity....so who ever you are, work on your communication skills....its a key to a successful carrier....now I m working on that too....
