What jobs do you think make a difference in today's world, other than the, of course, obvious answer: "Doctors".

If you wanted a job that could make a difference, what would you choose?

This stuffing envelopes scam has been around for more than 20 years. It riped off thousands of American as well as Canadian, and yet, nothing has been done to stop it.

Why don't we put a headline on every single newspaper to warn people about this scam? Why don't we boadcast this scam everyday on our TV station? Do our media really care about the public interest or do they only care about there advertising revenue?

Do you have an idea how to stop this rediculous scam?

My husband, my son and I moved into an apartment complex out of necessity. I lost my job and we in turn lost our house.

When we moved here it seemed ok, but lately it's gotten bad. Police are here all the time. Management is letting ANYONE move in. Management is extremely unprofessional (and that is putting it lightly). People are getting jumped by other residents guest for no reason other than them being a**ho**s. I mean this place is a wreck.

I have a 6 year old boy that likes to play outside, but with the people that are moving in and the activity that is in the complex, I don't feel safe.

Does anyone know a way that we can get out of our lease WITHOUT getting sued?

I honestly can't live here anymore.

Assuming the goal is to earn a decent living by selling things.

And assuming the Income Target is $50,000 per year.

And assuming you were willing to work on a commission basis.

Would you rather sell a larger number of products at a lower price, or a lower number of products at a higher price?

The turnover of employees where I am is at a ratio of 4 every 6 mths. Main reason given that there are two heads involved in the company -- one is a genius who rushes into decisions and one who holds the purse and halts it all in the last minute -- resulting in employees running towards one direction at one time and then told to drop all and run in the other direction. End story -- nothing ever gets done properly which affects the biz and we can't state these weaknesses to both the bosses as they always stick up for each other! Employees are always wrong, they are always right. And even when I try to bark louder than them -- the consequences are worse. And they love pitting one colleague against another by feeding each employee diff versions of stories. Sounds to me like a set of parents playing 'good cop, bad cop' don't you think?

I have about 5 credit cards and it seems like 2 of them (both capitalone) carry an annual fee of $39. I'm in the process of closing one of them with a $0 balance since capitalone operator refuses to remove the charge. So my question is is there a better way at getting the credit card companies to remove this unecessary fee w/o closing the account, which I've heard causes your FICO score to go down?

Ok, I am an eighteen year old, a sophomore and studying mechanical engineer. Recently I have many questions and I am nhot certain what to do with my life. I do not even know if I want to be an engineer anymore and even if I will become and engineer then what. I wonder whar is going to happen once I start a carrer. I see many grownups around me with kids, family and property and is as if I want to hurry to become a real adult. How will I become like them, finantially secure, responsable, reliable and organized witch are traits I barely posses. Have you even be in this situation and how did you (or still deal) with this?
