We all have moments like this. I sure have. You will probably never get your money back, but you should locate your States Attorney General Office and report this as one of way too many scams to really go after. The fact is if they don't scam too many people thy might never make the radar screen you know. Mark it as a relatively inexpensive lesson in life. Move on quickly. For work from home jobs ONLY use legitimate Web site career services and actual job hunter (headhunters). There are more that are based from the West Coast where SOHO (Small Office Home Office) was a big push.
Here's the golden rule of life... If you have to pay in advance, then there is no real prize, no real job and no legitimate company at the other end. Email, phone or other, don't be the next victim.
GOOD LUCK with the baby!! I have two gr8 urchins of my own.

If you have a local TV station who does features for this type of thing you may want to give them a call. They can sometimes point you in a direction or help get your money back. The state attorney sometimes will get involved in this type of scam, especially if it is widespread. Your local Better Business Bureau should have some names and addresses you could contact and if nothing else, you can file a complaint and perhaps prevent someone else from making the same mistake.

Have you tried going back to the bank with the stub? They would be able to tell you if the check has been cashed/processed. If it hasn't you maybe able to put a stop payment on the check (for a fee usually $18-25) and get some of your cash back...Just a couple of thoughts from a previous banker :) good luck!

Stay away from Cash Create and other survey Web sites!
It's a waste of time and will cause you unhappiness.
If you choose to get suckered in and sign up to take surveys and receive free trials considered you were warned. The minute you give them your credit card and personal information you have now opened your computer to unwanted cookies on your hard drive, annoying pop-up windows and if you are on a PC you open your computer to viruses that can wipe you out.

I was going to try one of those ads as well! It stinks that you got scamed. I would definately contact the Better Business Bureau as others have suggested. If you can't get your money back, at least you've alerted others to the scam! Good luck :-)

Call your ISP and ask them for suggestions as to what action you can take to recover your $39.

Contact the attorney general's office. They may be able to help you, but you are probably not going to get your money back. Good luck.
