I had a friend of mine who worked at a law office before as a receptionist and she said that the other employees were so rude and obnoxious to her. She also said they were very snotty as well especially the attorneys. Anyone else had a similiar experience?

I used to love my job... now it's annoying as heck. I come in here and all of a sudden, everything in my life is a tragedy. I automatically seem to find reasons to take things negatively. Then once I leave here, I am smiling again. I can't leave because I plan to go back to college Fall of 2007. I would like my boss to give me a letter of recommendation in the future and the pay ain't bad. If I get another job, it will probably suck more than this one.

I've been told that I don't pay enough attention to detail when I am working and not proactive enough. I really want to improve this before I move into my next job. What is the best way for me to sort this out so that in future people will never know?

I work for a worldwide company and have a fairly senior job. The company has just announced a huge reorganisation and my job has gone, but I've been offered another. I will keep my salary, company car, terms, conditions and pension, but I will report to people who used to report to me. They are far less qualified than me and the new job will be relatively boring.
I'm not ambitious - I have hobbies that are far more important to me. Should I stay, or should I go?

My husband and I are in our early 30's and are looking to build a large home (8000 sq. ft) somewhere in Arizona. We would rather the subdivision be on the newer side. We loved master-planned communities too (have restuarants, malls, etc near by). But, we do not like contemporary architecture. Any suggestions? If money were no object, what city and development/subdivision would you build a new home in?

There is a company that has been taking $49.95 every month out of one of my bank accounts (which I am in the process of closing). I had no idea and when i called to cancel it, I actually had to ask the company that they "sold"....which was phone cards. I have never used a phone card...ever. When I asked how I came to be signed up for this service, they told me that I got something in the mail that i was supposed to send back in so many days to cancell the service (which I probably quickly just threw away). Now, I know it's my fault for not being very observant of my own finances, but, again, I HAVE NEVER USED THIS COMPANY BEFORE! What should I do?

I've been thinking about making a website to sell various bath, body and beauty products. What do you think about the domain name BeautySpree.com? I seem to get mixed reactions.

Hi,
My husband and I formed a corporation because he works as a consultant. He is just moving into a new job that does not offer health insurance, so we have to buy our own.
I am wondering if anyone can tell me how this works or give me some links.
We need family coverage as we have 2 small children. A lot of the details aren't worked out yet because we just started it.

Any ideas or hints or suggestions to start getting this settled?
We have about 1 month before the new job is started and the corporation will start to see any income.

Thanks so much!

Would we come out better from a tax standpoint if we were married? The last 2 yrs I've claimed my boyfriend on my taxes (legally as verified by my accountant) but I'm wondering if we would get back more if we were married.
