The question here Jacobs is.. "if any" party is responsible. That's because We The People are responsible for the way our constitution is governed throughout the eras. The governing parties focus on popular issues and then manipulate them in ways they believe will attract the most support for their cause.. which is to get into and stay into political power. And one does not have to be a Political Analyst to realize that when it comes to manipulating the human mind... Republicans win hands down.

Yes the GOP is solely responsible for the hundreds of trillions of dollars debt the country owes to China now.
This is all so that the wealthiest 1% living in America don't have to pay any taxes on their multi-million dollar estates passed onto their children who will never have to work a day in their lives.
Thanks to the GOP and their tax cuts for the wealthy (with a few scraps thrown to every taxpayer as a ploy) our troops dying in Iraq have under-funded budgets for bodyarmor and transports.
Good riddance to the traitorous GOP.
