I have an interview today and I need some original, intelligent question I can ask the person interviewing me. The interview is for an assistant loan officer position (mortgage sales).

I just sold something on ebay for $19.00 and I said "Paypal only" and the doofus who won the auction sent me a money order. It's made out for the right amt. but the rest of it is left blank, he hasn't made it out to anyone and he hasn't signed it either. Can I still cash it?

I recently send alloy.com a very small check in payment for some merchandise. The merchandise was no longer in stock so my order was cancelled. They did not cash the check however they will not return the check to me. Are they supposed to return the check if they are not going to use it? Or should I just correct my checkbook and not worry about it?

I applied for a county government job. I went to the interview more than 2 weeks ago and still no answer. The interviewer told me it takes 2-3 weeks by mail to notify you to for a 2nd interview if you make it. I haven't got a call or letter whether I passed or not. Is the wait long? Should I call and ask if the job has been taken? Does any government worker have experience with this process? How does the government interview process compare to private industry (ie. is it harder or easier)? Btw this is for the auditor controller LA county. Thanks

My company put a freeze in place for all employee stock option activities in July 2006 without advance notice.

I have less than 30 day to exercise my stock options or they will expire.

Does anyone know what my rights are if the options expire while the freeze is still in place?

My company's officers - including HR, Finance, and Legal have all said they cannot provide an answer and cannot provide any direction.

How can any body deal with his or her own boss who gives bad references just because he wants to get back to you by not letting you grow in some other organisation.Recently one of my friends who had cleared his psychology tests, varifications, GD and interviews for a company, and had his appointment letter in his hand, was dissappointed because he could not get the job just because of one bad reference he got from his supervisor.
