Lets face it, not everyone has a college degree, and not everyone can be a doctor/lawyer/natural braniac. But we all would like to make enough money to pay the rent and utilities each month, and maybe enjoy a little extra something now and then, and some people have no one else on whom to depend but themselves. Where is a good state in the US that has a truly diverse economy where people who are willing to work can actually survive and even thrive? Forget the education at middle age+, and remember that a lot of success is how others see you, as good looking, youthful, and charming. Just looking for a place where ordinary people can make it. Thank you.

I purchased a used Jetta from a dealership 4 months ago. It has given me nothing but problems from day one. The "service" at the dealership is terrible. Pretty much they took my money and ran. I'm considering turning them into the BBB. I'm just looking for some advice on what to expect. Should I request the take the car back? Should I ask for a dollar amont I feel is fair for my hassle? Should I request they fix each and every problem (again) at their cost? Honestly, I'm at the end of my rope. I hate the car and the dealership. I want nothing more to do with either. I just feel stuck in a crappy situation!

The NY goverment is in talks about a high speed train line that would connect Albany and possibly some other upstate areas to NYC. I think this would be a major boost for Albany and the real estate market up there. I have been to Albany a few times and honestly I was not very impressed. It seemed like a place in a serious rut. I am curious about the upside potential of Albany in terms of real estate. I want to hear from someone who knows the area a little better. I would appreciate some real insight on the current real estate market, and which areas would benefit the most from a the high speed train. I'm also curious as to which neighborhoods currently in Albany are considered the best to live in and which are considered the worst. Thanks a bunch.

Most companies have a list of "approved items" that they will order from the office supply store and deliver to you. Some companies are very generous, some have 10 basic items. What's on your "wish list" that you'd love to use, your company won't buy for you, and you have maybe occasionally bought yourself? Be specific. Also, say what kind of company you work for (i.e. law office, hospital, etc.) and rate your company's office supply policy as

"Generous" - a whole office store catalog--you can order anything
"Average" - 25-250 or so items from an office store catalog, you can order any of those
"Limited" - a list of 25 or fewer items

We are trying sale a house in Neosho Missouri and relocate to Arkansas. I already have a job and am in Arkansas, but my husband isn't. Its not a fancy house, but it is a nice house with a lot of possibilities. The market is slow and so far we haven't had any luck. We've had it up for sale by owner for about 6 weeks. We had it up for sale with a realtor for about 3 months last spring. Does anyone have any suggestions at all as to how to hurry along the sale of this house? We're desperate....We'll try anything.....

In recent "The Apprentice", Tarek put in his resume to Donald Trump that he was a Mensan. Donald Trump was very impressed, praised him a lot and gave him headstart as project manager in 1st episode. But after Tarek did not perform, Tarek was slammed/condemned many times by Trump in subsequent episodes. Mentioning Mensa membership can be a liability later as there may more pressure on person to perform when he gets the job but does it increase chances of getting the job during interview stage?
