first and foremost is having the ability to multi task. (i was an over the road trucker for 20 yrs). be organized at all costs. know your drivers and their quirks. be honest with them. as far as the system of comms used. they are all windows based anymore so that is not a problem learning that side of it. the only things you will have to learn is the internal coding and things like that.

competence in the comm system being used, able to speak clearly and succinctly, able to spell and type quickly and accurately.
