Go to the Chamber of Commerce in the area that you are looking for. They will have a listing of all the businesses in an area. They can also tell you what kind of business it is(i.e. sub chapter S corporation, privately owned etc.) Good Luck!

Ask your local Chamber of Commerce. The smartest business people always register and take part in their local Chamber of Commerce. They will be a great resource.

I would suggest you to go and speak to one of the banks, so they can take your money and invest it in something good. Do as though you're interested in depositing in the bank so they tell you all about what they're gonna do with your money. You dont really have to deposit the money in the bank or you may (thats really upto you) but you'll definitely end up having a wide idea about where to invest or how to find new businesses. Trust me, banks know everything!!
