working a type of worship to god, if you do not work you are not getting rewards for that type of worship, in the other hand, there are very few people who do not need to work, i am sorry to say but they did not work to reach that stage,IE: the played the lottery, they robed someone or inherit the money, now, it is very bad if they won the lotto (type of gambling) or stolen the money, if they did inherit the money, most people spend it the wrong way, because they do not know hard it is to make that much money, at the end of the day, if you do not keep busy you will get bored, even if you have a hobby, or family members it counts as doing something. the conclusion is:
IF WE HAD NOTHING TO DO ALL DAY, EVERY DAY, MY FRIEND, OUR LIVES WILL HAVE NO POINT OF EXISTENCE.

I've been working since I was a teenager, so I'd have to do SOMETHING, otherwise I'd go crazy!

My ideal thing would be to have enough money so I didn't have to work, but spend at least 2 days a week working as a volunteer; preferably with underprivileged children or with animals.

I'd also do all the travelling I ever wanted to so...swim with whales, see the Northern Lights, follow the animal migration across the Serengeti, see the slave holding cells along the African West Coast, travel thru South America...

Dreams are nothing more than wishes and wishes are but dreams...DARE TO DREAM & BASK IN THE JOY OF THE DREAM FULFILLED!

That is exactly what I am doing now. I worked for 45 years and that was enough. I loved the work but hated the politics and there was just too much of it for me to stomach it anymore. I do what I want and when on what I can afford. I don't have many wants so it is pretty nice. I thought I'd be working another ten years but it all took its toll on me and I am better off doing whatever I am doing. What I can't fathom is how I manage to work all that time...the time just flies when you are not on a schedule and I am never done with what I am doing.

I would have so much time with my little girl she would probably go mad. But I think if i had more time it would allow us to have more fun. working and Doing Work related stuff takes up soooo much time. Like you get off work and go to the grocery come home put groceries away cook, eat bathe sleep and so on and so forth everyday. so maybe not the grocery but the store or errands whatever the only time there is to do things you want to do are the weekends and can't use them cause you have to do all the things you missed doing the other things you HAD to do during the week. I'm a single mom if you couldn't tell... It takes a toll. and It in itself is hard work...

Well, that's my situation at the moment, and christ is it tedious. Get up at about 10, or sooner, watch cheap and nasty TV, eat lunch, try and think of some way of passing the time, fail miserably a that, get very bored and frustrated, go to bed.

Hopefully, the job interview next week should solve that problem/

Well only if I had enough money in the bank, or won a million. I'd never work, and I would shop till i drop and sit on my backside all day. But unfortunately this ain't gonna happen. So I'll carry on workin my butt off, housework, and looking after kids 24/7.

I'd sleep a lot more, watch a lot more telly, answer a lot more questions on here and complain to lots of companies about all the little things that really bug me about their products. I'd take long holidays (assuming that I could afford them) and I would offer to look after my neighbours kids so that she could go out to work for more hours and I could get to spend time with them.

I am an actress and spend most of my days / weeks / years "resting" and not working. Believe me its not all its cracked up to be. Sometimes empty days can be really really depressing! Different I guess if you have loads of money....then I would take each of my friends away to a city of their choice, eat at the best restaurants and buy gorgeous clothes!!! Mmmm-mmm yes please!!

Travel more. Do more things I enjoy. Get outside more. I hate being trapped in the office on a beautiful day.
