When a company does a background check they are getting your criminal background. They can find out other information re: former employment through reference checks. Check with your state rules and regs though because in Ohio we can't state why someone seperated with the company. we can only give info such as dates employed

If you are hired you usually give permission for background checks. This can include you previous employors if the new employer wishes. That is the whole point of a background check.
I ahve known employees ot be let go months or years later after their former employments showed violations such as drug use, or damaging company equipment, or abuse of company policy.How ever I supect this was because soemone in th e company was pushing to have the person removed to better himself. Why else would they remove soemone after 18 months who was doing a great job with no violations.

It depends on how in depth the background check is. Chances are...no one will remember you anyway and your old boss or bosses are not on that job anymore. Personnel files are usually sent elsewhere for filing elsewhere and locating them is too much of a hassle. The odds are on your side.

no firing from a job show up on your background check it shows any criminal activity,such as arrest warranrt,felony,misdemean'or and bad checks
