Can the US government take away my loan if I get a Mighty Kids Meal for myself even though I'm not a kid? Any other "kids' meal" restrictions for loans?

I rented a room out on Aug 1. She paid rent in cash that day. She did not sign a lease. She has not been home in 3 weeks and the rent was due on Sept 1. She wont return my calls or my text messages. I heard that she was fired from her job and have no way of contactimg her otherwise. I dont know what I can do legally on California. All of her stuff is still in her room. Any help would be so appreciated. If you know who I can contact or anything. Thanks!

A friend has brought a tv,she still owes £1000 on it which she has to pay in april.She wants to sell the tv to me for £700 and i just really want to know if she didnt pay the final remainder would i be liable.I wasnt going to change it in my name,was just gonna buy it from her,and put the £700 as a payment of the balance..any advice!

Anyone know about this? I recently went to a local Walmart and was told that they didn't have layaway anymore! Then I read a newspaper article a couple of weeks ago that the company is thinking about doing away with layaway! Anyone in here work with Walmart that might know something about it? I was offered a Senior position by a friend who was setting up a company but things are not as i have predicted.They are still trying to get investors to come aboard to invest with them. I have not been paid since last month, a small amount was given $500.00. How am i going to survive paying my wages,debts & etc.Any ideas? I am thinking of looking for another job but i don't want to let my friend down.I'm stuck.Planning to get married next year.What am i going to do?I can't even bring my fiancee out for a show,dead broke.

Say I wanted to start trading stocks. Could I start an LLC to trade stocks for me, as the company's sole purpose. Pretty much as if the company was trading for me. I have no securities trading licence. But there should be some tax advantages for having a company that owns a stock instead of an individual. I was wondering if I could do that with an LLC. If not, are there any other corporate entities that could?
