Ive been woking for a while and have paid a fair old whack of national insurance and tax in my working life.
If i was to emmigrate to another country would i lose my basic uk pension. (Can i still claim it whilst living in another country?)
Just wondering if all they money ive paid in tax's etc would be wiped clear if i moved abroad for good?

or, why you never got selected for an interview. I worked for a company for 1 week then due to an accident i was off sick for a week, i decided to leave and give someone else the chance of the job as i had to recover from my accident. I left in good faith untill it came to get sick pay, i ended up having to sort it out myself and write to them telling them of the correct amount due to me before i got it back. I have applied for a job with them again and so far i have heard nothing. So can i ask them why i never got selected for an interview or the chance of getting my job back?

am basiacally an electronics and communications engineer but i work in a financial department in a communications company and don't think that i'd be able to move to the technical department so soon..my question is:will my experience in working in financial department help me if i moved to any other company??or it means nothing coz am not a specialist in that department??

My Father whom passed away in 1993, come to find out had forgotten about a life insurance policy he had with my mother in the 60's. She had even forgotten it. Now after notifing the ins. Company they have done a 600 payout cause of the cost of he policyhad deminished through the years. My question is this...One being how he died in 1993 and the ins. comp had no knowledge of his passing til a few months ago, Dont they owe the survivor benefits since his policy was in effect at his death. And 2, if the policy value had dminished from years of paying the premiums, what about the 12-14 years it was paying on a dead mans insurance. Help and thanks

Ok, I was reading a paper the other day, and there was a guy in there who advertises on Ebay and girls pay him to call them up and send them text messages etc etc to make their boyfriends jealous.

I could easily do things like that to make other peoples girlfriends jealous.

I have looked on Ebay for this kind of thing, but havent come across anything as of yet? What sort of wording do you think he would have used for people to find it.

Also, do you think men out there would pay for this kind of service, and where else could I advertise other than Ebay?

I am going to New Zealand in a couple for weeks time and was wondering what I should do - should I take a mixture of cash and travellers cheques or should I just draw money when I get there. Does anyone know how much I will be charged each time I draw out cash with my LLoyds Visa Card? What is the best currency to take travellers cheques in for New Zealand?
