This page (of many that you can find by Googling) has some very good hints, tips and templates.

It is VERY IMPORTANT to concentrate on correct spelling, punctuation and grammar when writing a CV! You ought to always consider it important - even (and especially) when posting questions here!

What's the difference between a resume and a CV? The primary differences are the length, the content and the purpose. A resume is a one or two page summary of your skills, experience and education. A goal of resume writing is to be brief and concise since, at best, the resume reader will spend a minute or so reviewing your qualifications.
A Curriculum Vitae, commonly referred to as CV, is a longer (two or more pages), more detailed synopsis. It includes a summary of your educational and academic backgrounds as well as teaching and research experience, publications, presentations, awards, honors, affiliations and other details.
When to use a CV
In the United States a Curriculum Vitae is used primarily when applying for international, academic, education, scientific or research positions or when applying for fellowships or grants.
Otherwise a "resume" is used.

I have to state that there is no defined way of presenting your CV. If you google CV or resume you are going to get so many examples until you get confuse on how to make your CV appear great. All I would say first of all, this is an extremely common mistakes even executives and CEO do make, you ignore to put your contacts on the CV. You need to put this including all the mobile numbers that will be applicable to you. Do not in anyway put more than 3. If you do not have your own you can use a neighbours, family or friend number but remember to include their name after stating the number.
Then you need to decide what is important, your educational qualification or work experience. the most important one should be stated first. do not forget to include the skill you learned from the experience or studying. It helps. All in all a creative Cv attracts attention and that is what most recruiting people want a cv that draws them since we do not have time go through all the application we receive.

firstly use a spell ckecker. write down all your qualifications, details etc then determine who your target employers are- for instance a brain surgeon would use a different style cv to a builders labourer. look on the web there are many sites that give examples and some you can complete with your details and voila there it is. good luck
