I don't like the idea of leaving an open DD for Paypal when my account is verified. Can you in the UK: 1) Cancel it after verification without infringing any conditions, and 2) set your account to use only your credit card after you have verified? Or does it default to your bank account and have to be reset for each transaction?

Mine is people who go to work, get paid, and do nothing more than sit around playing games all day and surfing the net. AARGH! I can't find a decent job when I'm very willing to work hard and NOT be irresponsible! This really pisses me off!

I've seen everywhere, on road signs, train stations, bus stops... signs which say "Call XXX to earn £500-£1000 per month part time". Obviously a lot of these are going to be scams, but I was wondering if anyone has actually called one of these adverts, and if so did you actually earn anything?

I am organising an event for my company that does consultancy for the charity sector. The idea is a "casual" get together of people in the charity sector to share ideas and talk about the future of the charity industry. There will be guest speakers from places like friends of the earth and other movers and shakers in the chairty sector. Its currently called the autum seminar, which is boring and has no reflection on what we want to do. Can anyone think of a great name? help!!

Can a bank garnish my wages without taking me to court? .... I took out a car loan about a year ago I was in a jam and took the first car they gave me since I had bad credit. I tried to take the car back a week after I had had it but they wouldn't so I had them repo it. I have been ignoring there calls etc. Because I was told it will just go on my credit report and be gone after seven years. they got a hold of me the other day and said they will garnish my wages unless I pay them?can they do this? what are my options?
