I've seen everywhere, on road signs, train stations, bus stops... signs which say "Call XXX to earn £500-£1000 per month part time". Obviously a lot of these are going to be scams, but I was wondering if anyone has actually called one of these adverts, and if so did you actually earn anything?

They are all scams! They will usually ask you to 'invest' some money in supplies and spend many hours in hand addressing envelopes from a list they supply which they then 'buy' off you. I have never tried them personally but what often happens is that they reject your envelopes giving some excuse or other (not neatly written enough or something like that) and you end up VERY much worse off!

The work is always menial and (when you think about it) the going rate for that kind of work (legally) can only be the minimum wage (about £5.15 hourly). You could not hope to earn even £500 a month part-time at that rate - depending on what you call 'part-time', of course! These people are NOT going to pay anything like the minimum wage (if they were prepared to, they would hire people to do the work in the normal way).

You can't find a regular job to earn 700 per month. This is my opinion. 1. Join a direct sale company. When I was study at Inti College some student make money from their sale in order to pay their school fee. 2. Try Mutual Fund agent, or insurance agent. you need to put afford. 3. Take in more student 5 per time. 80 per person. 80x5= 400. Then two section become 800. Hope this will help.

You are correct, many are scams. However, this is often used as an effective form of advertising for reputable companies, after all, it did catch your attention. I myself have not posted these kinds of signs, but other people in my business do. Our company has been around for 6 years and is U.S. based. We just went international this year and have several associates in the UK. We adhere to the very strict rules of compliance of the FTC and will soon be members of the DSA (Direct Seller's Association). most of them you will find are betterware as kleeneze distributors are not allowed to fly post adverts. With kleeneze you can earn money, and its more than £30 for 300 cats. The law of averages are that if you put out 300 cats you can earn instantly up to £70, and if you did that week in week out for a 4 week period your earning for that time would be about £300+ with the bonus you would receive from Kleeneze. I applied for a money making opportunity on the net, I had to pay £60 membership and they apparently sent me on line surveys where I could make lots of money. I was sooooo stupid to do it as I've had no surveys from them I've asked for my £ back but they don't reply so learn from my mistakes and don't do it!
