I've been offered a job almost 200 hundred miles away from home and it's tempting to take because the money's great, it'll get me valuable experience in the field I've just started out in and they company will pay for me to take a course leading to a further professional qualification.
The thing is, I have to start in just over a week if I do accept it which also means flat-hunting and tying up lose ends in my present job.
I met a man (through my current job) who is so wonderful & perfect and the way I feel around him is something I've never experienced before. It just feels like we were meant to be together. He's so funny, charming, sweet and a complete gentleman and we only just got together last week! He has gone abroad for the week (on important business) and knows about the job (which he has said if he were me he wouldn't take, that was before we got together) but I just can't decide if my career or lovelife is 2come 1st.He's currently studying part-time so can't move wiv me!

Hi :)

Just a few questions
- What's the bank you work at (optional)

-Do you like your position as a teller ?

-What are the requirements for this position?

-What are the tests that you need to take ? How hard are they? Anyone can pass theses tests or an appropriate education is needed ?

- Pros and cons of this job?

- How much they pay? And how (hourly or monthly salary..?)

-Schedule flexible?

-How long is the training and how hard is it?

Please answer those questions and thank you in advance :)

My work day starts at 7:50 and doesn't end until at least 5:00. I usually only take a 15 minute lunch and eat at my desk - and this is a good day. There are many days I work more than this.

Is it a standard thing in this day and age to only work from 9 to 5?

Please ignore question if you have nothing relevant to say about it. It's one of those things that sound too good to be true, but one is always curious anyhow.

I work at a call center & the head MGR is a total ******, he's always sitting behind everyone & watching them whenever he wants. If you ever look him in the eye he always finds something not so cool to say about u. At this place they're always looking for reasons to fire people.

I took a thumb-tack and placed it on an empty desk in a cubicle. It's one of his favorite spots to sit & watch people. There are no cameras showing the inside of the cubicle but there is 1 at each end of the isle, & this cubicle was in the center of the isle. So he got a little skeptical, people nearby laughed when he sat down. He brought someone out w/ him from a room, they were walking REALLY fast to the camera closet to try & see who did it. 10 min later, it was time to leave, the camera closet was closed, the guy was gone, the MGR said nothing to me. Just to be sure, I asked him to help me w/ something, he kindly did & didn't ask me about it or suspect me at all. I go back on Sunday, I'm a bit worried.

OK this would be our families first home, anything that anyone can suggest would be helpful. Anything to look for or be aware of. We are going through Capital One Home they have programs for individuals that don't have perfect credit. They are trying to get us a plan on where they buy the property and we rent for so long with some of the rent going twords the down payment and when we reach the down payment then it becomes a morgage.
So basically our first home will be a fixer upper, only with some miner fixing to do because it will be cheaper. My husband is the ultimate handyman so that's fine. But what I need to know is what to look for in contracts or the housing it self. I don't want to end up getting in debt to buy a house. Anything would be great.

Thanks

I am a medical transcriptionist working for a company at home as an independent contractor. They do not take taxes out of my check because of this. My "tax guy" told me not to worry about paying taxes quarterly because I am only making about $500 a month (part time job/full time mom) This is making me a little nervous. Any experts out there have any advice? This this something that I can pay when I file my taxes??

I am about to turn my computer off and will go back on line when I get into work at 9am. The person who manages to write something to inspire me to do a full days work, and feel motivated and buzzing for the day gets the 10 points. Tell me what inspires you, if you like! And yes, I already know its only 1 day til the weekend!! (It may help to know that its a day of writing and updating policies and procedures).

My apartment sucks. I was fool enough to sign another lease and I cant take it anymore. I'm on lease until 07.31.2007. I thought that I should just get another apartment while there are no evictions on my credit and save the extra money for other reasons. I'm paying 930 for a 1/1 studio like apartment. I can get a 2/2 for nearly a 100 dollars cheaper.

I have had a cell phone with Rodgers now for maybe almost a year. It is a three year contract. One of those free phones if you sign a 3 year term with us. They have been great up until the past few months. I want out. The service sucks, and i'm not going to get into all the details. Will this hurt my credit if I buy out? Costs $200 to buy out of the contract.
