Yes. Not only do you have to be the right person for it, you have to know your product, it's competition and not to mention a butt load of laws. Door to door I guess is just brutal. I"ve never done it myself, but I am in the finance and insurance business now and selling Credit, Life and Disability is kind of tough. I know some good ways to overcome customer objectives so making a living on it isn't too hard but, you have to know what you're doing.

Yes, it requires good personality and strong talking power (sales talk) to convince someone to get him insured.
