I always see these opportunities to buy a vending machine route. As the owner/operator, I guess I would maintain the machines and restock them. In return, I collect all the coins from purchases. Seems easy enough. What is the worst part of it?

Generally I'm a pretty big skeptic of junk mail & shoddy attempts at solicitation, but I have to say, the letter looks legit. How does this stuff work? Or am I just kidding myself and it's all a hoax?

I was under the impression that nexus is required to be established within the state of Arizona, otherwise, the seller is not liable for any state sales tax. Please provide me with links establishing your argument, if possible.

We have been trying to purchase a home for the last 5 months. We are being told by the seller's realtor that the seller's mortgage company is not responding to their repeated attempts to finish the closing deal. The seller's realtor is faxing the paperwork 2 times a day, calling and getting the run around, etc and getting nowhere with the company. Two weeks ago the mortgage company did respond and said they were missing a form from the realty company, which has now been completed and still no response. Are there possible reasons why this mortgage company is not responding? What do they have to gain by not following through with the sale?

Money makes the world go round. Has money affected your life?
Would you like to be rich beyond your wildest dreams or would it become boring after you have everything you ever wanted?

I am a Personal Financial Analyist and am looking to help people plan for the future. I'd like to help with debt elimination, investments, mortgages, etc. I'd also like to set people up with life insurance, and help people plan for retirement. Like the old saying goes "People don't plan to fail, they fail to plan." I'd like to remedy this situation. Where do you think I can find people in my area who would need these services. Also, I have been promoted as an assistant in the Human Resources department, and I'm looking for employees. I'm not looking for just anyone, and I'm afraid that if I put out an advertisment in the paper that I'm going to get a bunch of calls from people that I don't want. How would I go about finding the kind of people I'm looking for, and screening them before the interview?

Ok, here's the sitiation: I have this lazy slacker of a co-worker (of the same authority level), whose refusal to do work drives me crazy. My ability to do job properly depends on him doing HIS -- which he doesn't. I've been polite this whole time (he's been working here a couple of months) and I'm sick of asking (always sweetly/politely!) for him to do the same thing, over and over. I've asked him 3 or 4 or 5 times for certain things to get done... and they still don't happen. He also often ignores IM's over the computer. I've had it! I keep thinking about that whole double standard about women in the workplace: that if I'm "assertive," I'll be considered a *****.
A) It's seriously NOT in my nature to be rude or bitchy, and I don't want to be (don't even know how to be!) BUT
B) I feel like he has no respect for me b/c I'm too nice.
PLEASE NOTE: this guy is gay, so it's not a macho guy issue - just one of respect, and power dynamics/politics in the workplace. What to do?!!
