I am a Personal Financial Analyist and am looking to help people plan for the future. I'd like to help with debt elimination, investments, mortgages, etc. I'd also like to set people up with life insurance, and help people plan for retirement. Like the old saying goes "People don't plan to fail, they fail to plan." I'd like to remedy this situation. Where do you think I can find people in my area who would need these services. Also, I have been promoted as an assistant in the Human Resources department, and I'm looking for employees. I'm not looking for just anyone, and I'm afraid that if I put out an advertisment in the paper that I'm going to get a bunch of calls from people that I don't want. How would I go about finding the kind of people I'm looking for, and screening them before the interview?

clients come from ads or a personal list of friends. I get invited to info sessions all the time that include lunch or dinner and highlight specific questions like " How can you make 6% interest".
i get cards in the maail. HR people are supposed to know how to find the right kind of people. The easiest idea is to open it up to your current employees to suggest a friend or family member, maybe offer a reward. Have a 30 day hiring promotion?
