I always see these opportunities to buy a vending machine route. As the owner/operator, I guess I would maintain the machines and restock them. In return, I collect all the coins from purchases. Seems easy enough. What is the worst part of it?

Think about where you would put the machines. Why would a business owner agree to let you place your machine in their business place? Who is out the money if someone wrecks or steals your machine? Who will fix the machines when they break? (vending route deals are rife with shoddy machines) The truth is that there are huge companies in the vending business. They are very hard to compete with and there is likely a 95% failure rate in small vending routes. If you are honest and hard working, why not get a job with a vending company to see how it works and if there is an opportunity for you to go on your own.

It is best for the vending machine seller.
Look in the newspaper ads, you always see vending machines and routes for sale. Gee, I wonder why?
