Generally I'm a pretty big skeptic of junk mail & shoddy attempts at solicitation, but I have to say, the letter looks legit. How does this stuff work? Or am I just kidding myself and it's all a hoax?

Can you find the company online? Are they asking for any crucial information from you? There are some marketers honestly looking for information and this may be one of them.

My wife does some mystery shopping and has been careful; there are some opportunities. You sound pretty careful, too, so you should be OK.

If you are supose to make something unbelievable then it is something fishy but there are companies out there that do this and all you really get is a few dollars or some cupons of some sort. Just look into it and you will be able to tell.

If they offer to send you things to rate, it might not be a hoax. If they ask you to pay for anything (shipping, handling, or any other fee or charge) then you should fold that offer up neatly and run it through your paper shredder. DO NOT give them a credit card or checking account number under any circumstances.

You are kidding yourself. If the ad says that you will get a $2000 laptop for just looking it over and writing a paragraph about it, common sense says that is a scam.

if you want to do that you will find legit companies will post jobs for that position or try temp agencies

first it will cost you money for their kit,then they will tell you they will contact the stores and restaurants in your area and tell them you are availible. how many do you think will use you? right-none
