I am starting my first "real" out of college job on September 1. My cousin is getting married on Sept 23 and I am in her wedding that is out of town so I will need to be at the rehearsal 4 hrs away by 6PM on that Friday. I don't have any vacation time until 6mo. so I am not sure what to do as I can't miss the rehearsal. Should I tell my boss I had prior plans that are super important and I can't get out of them? Or should I "leave sick" that day? I don't want to be dishonest! Help!

My aunt and I are thinking about purchasing a condo as income property however I will be the only person on the loan. Is there a way that we can both split the deductions even though I will be the only person listed on the 1099-interest(or mayber its 1098) from the mortgage company?

I have a B.A. in Art History from one of the best colleges in Virginia. I have applied for a museum job, but they never called me for an interview. I would like to apply to grad school in the near future, but I need to study and take the GREs. In the meanwhile, I need to get a job, preferably related to art history and museums. I checked my credit report and there are two collections account for $313. Apparently the one was bought out by the other company earlier this year. I called and asked what the debt was for and they said it was an ATT account back in 1998 and told me the address and phone number it was for. I never lived at that address, never had that phone number, never had an account with them. i found hundreds of complaints filed at ripoffreport.com and on BBB by others stating they have same thing on their credit report. I want to make sure that I have these removed.

Right, I am a very "inspired" person - I have lots of ideas which I believe to have great business potential.

The point is that I am not a very consistent person, and when you mix that with my inspired being, the outcome is that I skip from project to project, and nothing ever even reaches the "invention" stage.

Are there people/companies who specialize in bringing ideas further, or companies who employ "inventors"?

What can I do to turn my idea into reality, considering what I just told about myself?

Or is it better to simply use a service like Yahoo Small Business or similar service to start up an online store? I have rudimentary html writing skill but not much more, but I don't want a "cookie cutter" site. I'd like it to resemble a newsletter or magazine splash page, possibly with an RSS feed area (blog), but I don't have experience with formatting using html or anything else (XML is after my time, and I only know RSS because it is mentioned so often w/regard to blog technology.)

I'm a preschool teacher, and I'm now hoving an issue with one of the parents. For you to understand you have to know the whole srory. Me and her used to be friend. We hung out ALL the time. She then started some mess with me and another parent. Well me and the other parent worked it out. I havent spoke to the parent that caused the drame since June. So now everyday since she's claiming that her son is going home saying that I called them Crazy. Her son is not even in my class and I dont see him for about 30 minutes out of a day. We now have a meeting on Friday. How should I handle the situation? I would love to curse her out, but she wants a reaction from me and I refuse to do it. So any suggestions on what to do?

My husband and I are very seriously thinking about refinancing our current mortgage through Quicken Loans (online). What do you know about this company? Have you ever financed through it?
